What you will do

• Build and scale AWS WorkSpaces virtual desktop environments, selecting Windows or Linux bundles and appropriate compute and storage configurations.
• Integrate WorkSpaces with Simple AD, Managed Microsoft AD, on-premises Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Implement MFA, SAML 2.0 federation, AWS KMS encryption, VPC network controls, and secure PCoIP or Amazon DCV streaming.
• Monitor uptime, automate patching with AWS Systems Manager, troubleshoot connectivity, and optimize hourly or monthly billing.
• Design application packaging and delivery using Amazon WAM, AppStream 2.0, and group policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, End User Computing, or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS VPC, IAM, KMS, Directory Service, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Direct Connect, and PCoIP or Amazon DCV streaming protocols.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI for bulk user provisioning and management.
