C-MO-420 Manufacturing Operations Management Intern

Location: On-site in Montréal (St. Laurent), Canada. Internship dates begin January 4, 2027, for 4 or 6 months. Candidates must work one of two shifts: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day supervision of production activities.
• Work with production-floor employees and support team engagement.
• Promote a safe and respectful workplace and support Health & Safety initiatives.
• Contribute to quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
• Participate in performance analysis, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a university degree and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and complete the required security documentation.
• Preferred bachelor's degree studies in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Leadership potential, initiative, and team-building abilities.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
