Senior Aviation Software Engineer

Location: Onsite in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation is not offered.

What you will do

• Build, scale, and operate aviation data solutions in AWS.
• Improve aviation data and flight matching algorithms.
• Process real-time aircraft telemetry from ADS-B, Mode-S, and MLAT receiver networks.
• Process noisy radio data, flight trajectories, aircraft state vectors, and geospatial information.
• Work with airspace analytics and large-scale historical flight datasets.
• Make architectural decisions while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience building, scaling, and operating high-demand production systems.
• Ability to understand existing codebases and architectures quickly.
• Self-driven approach and confidence making technical decisions independently.
• Commitment to clean code, testing, automation, and pragmatic engineering practices.
• Ability to work onsite in Stockholm, Sweden; relocation is not offered.
• Clear and professional communication in English required.
