Assistant Manager- Manufacturing Engineering

What you will do

• Own knowledge and solutions across OT, IT infrastructure, and smart factory systems.
• Establish and maintain network performance and IT/OT connectivity.
• Configure and apply MES solutions across production, quality, inventory, performance management, data management, reporting, and enterprise integration.
• Manage MES processes including order management, line control, material management, rework control, packaging control, product setup management, and block management.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and perform functional consulting and fit-gap analysis.
• Integrate Level 1 field devices and Level 3 OPC systems with plant and enterprise platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software development engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience configuring and applying MES systems.
• Strong experience with Rockwell MES Lite and Siemens PLC programming.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, including assembly, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Profound knowledge of IT/OT connectivity protocols, particularly OPC-UA and OPC-DA.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of machine connectivity tools and interfaces to PLC and SAP systems.
• Experience improving IT solution implementation through methods, data, and automation across the solution lifecycle.
