Consultant/Senior Consultant - Market Access Reimbursement, Contracting & Analytics

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $96,000–$144,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative market data to develop actionable client insights and solutions.
• Develop payer and provider contracting strategies, including contract structures and price-concession analyses, to optimize patient access and provider adoption.
• Model manufacturer decision-making and workflows for pre-deal analytics, contract-impact analogs, and post-deal ROI evaluation.
• Translate complex models and scenario analyses into concise client deliverables for technical and executive audiences.
• Educate clients on fund flows and interactions among US healthcare stakeholders, including payers, providers, GPOs, and related organizations.
• Senior Consultants manage client communications, present analytical insights, and lead larger teams on reimbursement and contracting engagements.

Requirements

• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, What-If Analysis, and Scenario Planning.
• PowerPoint proficiency, including building graphs, charts, and tables that communicate quantitative insights.
• Familiarity with US healthcare stakeholders and payer or provider contracting environments, including managed care organizations, PBMs, provider practices, IDNs, health systems, GPOs, and 3PL providers.
• Ability to convert analytical requests into model inputs, interpret large and potentially unorganized datasets, and communicate complex recommendations to less technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
