VP, CRE Draw Administration (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States

Annual base salary: $115,000–$130,000, with potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage construction and reserve draw requests across a diverse commercial real estate loan portfolio.
• Review draw packages, invoices, lien waivers, inspections, title updates, budgets, contingencies, change orders, and TI/LC allowances.
• Manage borrower consent requests and coordinate approvals with lenders and co-lenders.
• Monitor capital sources and uses, loan balance compliance, disbursement conditions, and property-level construction and leasing updates.
• Serve as a client contact, coordinate deliverables, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and escalate non-compliant issues.
• Supervise, mentor, and perform quality control on junior staff while coordinating with asset management and loan management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience, typically including 2 or more years at AVP level or an equivalent position.
• Commercial real estate and debt or equity asset management experience, with knowledge of office, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties.
• Advanced CRE knowledge covering underwriting, loan servicing, treasury practices, IRR, NPV, DSCR, DY, NOI, and NCF.
• Ability to build complex financial models in Excel or similar tools and solve complex financial and operational issues.
• Strong communication, client relationship management, leadership, prioritization, decision-making, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hotels, condominiums, transitional, development, pre-development, repositioning, and stabilized properties.
• Knowledge of participations, syndications, CLOs, senior and mezzanine debt, warehouse lines, and repo lines.
• Experience with Enterprise! McCracken Strategy, LSTA, Misys, or Backshop.
