Tech Support Engineer - Part-time

Location: 1060, Vienna, Austria; ideally currently located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly

Salary: €2,547 gross per month on a full-time basis, prorated according to actual monthly working hours; final compensation depends on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary IT support contact for the Boston and Vienna offices.
• Prioritize and manage multiple support requests through the internal IT support channel.
• Provision devices and manage user onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain reliable Google Workspace and macOS environments across the company.
• Monitor device performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Support internal security and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Part-time availability of approximately 10 hours per week.
• Currently located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly to Vienna.
• Valid Austrian work permit required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience or understanding of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and macOS.
• Understanding of identity management, SSO, networks, security, and device management.
• Fluent English and clear communication with non-technical users.

Nice to have

• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
• Mobile Device Management experience.
• Backup and recovery experience.
• Basic PowerShell or Bash scripting for automation.
• Documentation, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills.
