Medical Assistant / LPN - Specialty Float Pool - Per Diem

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

What you will do

• Prepare visit charts with diagnostic results, urgent care reports, discharge summaries, and consultation records.
• Room patients, record complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
• Perform hearing, vision, respiratory, ECG, depression, asthma, and point-of-care testing.
• Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and document procedures accurately.
• Administer medications and immunizations and process prescription refill and prior authorization requests.
• Maintain clinical supplies and medication sample areas, including labeling, storage, and stock levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• For MA I: completion of an accredited medical assistant or training program, or relevant healthcare experience with formal training; at least one year of relevant healthcare experience is required.
• For MA II: at least three years of experience as a medical assistant.
• MA I candidates must obtain BLS authorization within 90 days of employment and maintain it; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred.
• MA II candidates must hold CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification and obtain BLS authorization within 90 days of employment.
• Work is performed onsite in Manchester, New Hampshire, during the day shift.
