Medical Assistant (Primary Care & Occupational Health)

Location: Louisville, Ghent, and Trimble, Kentucky, with scheduled travel to assigned clinic and plant locations.

Salary: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information.
• Assist providers during patient visits and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support front-office and administrative functions as needed.
• Provide scheduled Occupational Health services at LG&E-KU Energy plant locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program plus 2+ years of recent MA experience, or 3+ years of recent MA experience.
• Relevant military medic experience may also qualify.
• Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and availability for planned travel between Louisville, Ghent, and Trimble locations are required.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Occupational Health experience.
