MBA Finance Leadership Development Program Intern (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in Bloomfield, Connecticut—three days per week in the office and two days remotely.

Compensation: $50–$52 per hour, based on experience. Housing is provided for the summer internship.

What you will do

• Own a 10-week finance project aligned with finance priorities, growth strategies, and current business needs.
• Analyze financial data, business trends, and operational drivers to develop practical insights and recommendations.
• Use AI-enabled tools, analytics, automation, and other technology responsibly for research, modeling, productivity, and insight development.
• Collaborate with corporate strategy and development, FP&A, health care pricing, treasury and capital management, accounting and audit, and underwriting teams.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation covering the project approach, findings, business impact, and recommended next steps.
• Develop knowledge of the health care ecosystem, customer segments, distribution channels, and Finance’s role in enterprise performance.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA; a finance emphasis is preferred.
• At least one year of professional experience, with relevant academic, internship, project, or work experience considered.
• Experience using AI tools, analytics platforms, automation, or data-driven technology.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting recommendations.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, accounting, valuation, forecasting, analytics, or strategy.
• Experience with team-based projects, case competitions, consulting, research, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Exposure to health care, insurance, public health, data analytics, or regulated business environments.
• Experience with generative AI and a thoughtful, accurate, ethical, and responsible approach to emerging technologies.
