Clinical Nurse Manager- Labor and Delivery

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Main Campus, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. Full-time day shift.

Pay range: $134,525.66–$171,524.44 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations for designated labor and delivery units.
• Prepare staff schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate services to optimize patient care.
• Supervise staff, evaluate performance, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and support onboarding and orientation.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets while implementing efficiency and cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead hospital, departmental, interdisciplinary, and quality-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• At least five years of RN experience, including at least one year as a charge or lead RN.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Strong clinical judgment, nursing-process knowledge, communication skills, and ability to maintain clinical competency.
• Onsite work at Lowell General Hospital and prolonged standing, walking, and occasional patient lifting are required.
