Physician Assistant

Location: Onsite in Midland, Texas, at a Health Center. Full-time schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The role is 32 hours per week.

What you will do

• Provide primary, urgent, preventive, and comprehensive healthcare to client employees and their dependents, including patients aged two and older.
• Conduct physical examinations and preventive health assessments according to clinical guidelines and approved agreements.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, infection management, and other clinical procedures.
• Develop patient care plans, document progress, educate patients, and maintain accurate health records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend treatments, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity and comprehensive care.

Requirements

• At least three years of clinical Physician Assistant experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or an emergency department.
• Degree from an ARC-PA-accredited program and current NCCPA national certification.
• Current state licenses and certifications required to practice, including a Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License where applicable.
• Federal DEA license matching each state of practice, as applicable.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on the contract scope.
• Previous primary or urgent care experience is strongly preferred; new graduates may apply.
