Senior Accountant (Fintech)

Location: Cyprus, Ypsonas

International fintech company with offices in Cyprus, London, Nassau, and Dubai, employing more than 600 people across 40 nationalities.

What you will do

• Organize and maintain full-cycle accounting in SAP for several Group companies.
• Manage accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closings.
• Process invoices, reconcile payments, and verify supporting documents for payment execution.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, tax workings, and tax returns, including CPT, VAT, and WHT submissions.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and JIRA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High ethical standards and commitment to financial confidentiality.
