What you will do
- Compare investment portfolio data from external sources with the internal reconciliation system.
- Review and update reporting data while meeting daily delivery deadlines.
- Investigate reconciliation issues, apply problem-solving skills, and seek guidance from mentors and department experts when needed.
- Communicate with data providers, clients, and internal stakeholders about inquiries and issue updates.
- Maintain professional relationships and provide feedback to product teams on internal projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or another finance-related analytical field.
- At least 1 year of directly applicable experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance.
- Basic understanding of investment, financial, and accounting concepts, including standard security types.
- Strong computer, Microsoft Office, documentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Finance or accounting experience and experience with securities or financial markets.
- Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables, and VBA.
