What you will do
- Support and maintain mainframe storage environments.
- Perform DFHSM maintenance, reorganization, auditing, migration, and backups.
- Configure, test, and activate SMS environments using ACS routines.
- Support problem-solving efforts and implement changes in z/OS environments.
- Work with mainframe hardware, software, storage systems, and replication technologies.
Requirements
- Practical experience in mainframe storage is required.
- Experience with z/OS, DFSMS, DFHSM, DFDSS, ICF Catalog, ICKDSF, and z/OS hardware and software.
- Knowledge of REXX, ACS routines, and SMS configuration testing and activation.
- Experience with HDS Storage, VTS 7700, and replication technologies including Tivoli MM Global Replication, EMC SRDF/A, or HDS HUR.
- Experience with CA-1, Vantage, FDR, and DFDSS, plus basic knowledge of SMP/E and RACF.
Nice to have
- SAS reporting experience.
