Junior Backend Engineer (Java, Web3 Wallet)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; remote arrangement

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, high-performance backend systems.
• Support blockchain-related development for the Web3 Wallet DEX project.
• Contribute to technical architecture and solution design for distributed systems.
• Introduce innovative technologies and solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical problem-solving and development standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Java development experience and a solid computer science foundation.
• Experience with multithreaded programming, JVM, distributed middleware, caching, message queues, and MySQL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Spring Cloud.
• Strong understanding of code quality, logical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
• Understanding of blockchain technology; Web3 project experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and stabilizing large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, high-load, and highly available systems.
• Previous experience with blockchain or related Web3 projects.
