Junior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - New Product (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Munich or Berlin office, Germany

What you will do

• Contribute to the expansion of a new financial product in a cross-functional team.
• Build and operate a fast-growing neo-broker platform.
• Develop software using agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Design and maintain well-architected, testable, and documented code.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, Java, SQL, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, and Terraform.
• Structured problem-solving skills and strong technical and product-oriented analytical thinking.
• Clear, concise communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, or microservices is a plus.
