Construction Superintendent

Location: Brooklyn, NY; full-time on-site

Pay: $65–$75 per hour

Construction management and consulting firm providing services across the full construction life cycle, including construction and program management, owner’s representation, resident engineering, inspection, preconstruction consulting, and related project support.

What you will do

• Provide daily on-site supervision for the renovation of a 9,000-square-foot facility.
• Coordinate all trades to ensure compliance with project schedules, drawings, and quality standards.
• Manage roof replacement, concrete retaining wall rehabilitation, mechanical room waterproofing, and other building improvements.
• Oversee incidental asbestos abatement and interior restoration related to water infiltration damage.
• Develop and maintain site safety management plans in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Manage complex logistics, site drainage coordination, and traffic management in a constrained urban neighborhood.

Requirements

• Extensive experience supervising building envelope rehabilitation, including roof systems, facade restoration, and structural repairs.
• Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and ADA elevator upgrades in historic or existing structures.
• Deep understanding of OSHA regulations, confined-space entry, and NYC safety standards.
• Strong multi-trade coordination skills for single-phase construction execution.
