What you will do

• Shoot video for news and sports reports.
• Set up, compose, and execute video shots for broadcast and digital content.
• Edit video for television newscasts and digital platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Operate TVU live backpacks and live trucks for live shots.
• Coordinate assignments, logistics, and shot requirements with newsroom personnel.
• Maintain video equipment and perform related production duties.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• High school diploma; a college or vocational degree is preferred but not required.
• At least two years of experience operating video recording equipment.
• Proficiency with video and audio recording equipment, computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift, set up, and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
