Licensed Counselor - $3,000 Hiring Incentive

Location: On-site in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, USA

Compensation: $35.00–$40.00 per hour with a bonus structure; $3,000 hiring incentive.

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment program procedures and provide intake, readmission, and follow-up counseling.
• Collect patient information and develop, revise, and document treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, referrals, follow-up services, and coordination with community providers.
• Deliver OBOT services, support program implementation, and assist with caseload management.
• Maintain regulatory and accrediting standards, records, training requirements, and internal reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, as required by the state.
• Current counseling credentials such as LMSW, LCSW, LPCP, or LMFT.
• Knowledge of substance use populations, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions, handle confidential information, respond quickly in stressful situations, and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and education.
