Sourcing Specialist (Supply Chain/Purchasing): Supporting purchasing operations in Ensenada, Mexico through supplier documentation, compliance certifications, inventory reporting, supplier scorecards, and cost-savings analysis with an accent on import/export regulations, supplier performance, and manufacturing support. Focus on coordinating USMCA and certificates of origin, maintaining CTPAT/OEA information, monitoring inventory and production risks, and preparing supplier and plant contract documentation.

What you will do
- Coordinate supplier data and documentation for import/export regulations, maquiladora/IMMEX requirements, certificates of origin, and USMCA compliance.
- Maintain supplier information for CTPAT/OEA security programs and ensure compliance with Lacey Act and TSCA certifications for wood products.
- Lead weekly Return to Vendor meetings with quality and purchasing teams.
- Prepare supplier scorecards and quarterly reports using on-time delivery, quality rejection, and cost variance data.
- Produce sourcing, inventory, and commodity reports to identify cost-saving opportunities, stocking trends, and supplier concentration.
- Communicate supplier and market risks that may affect production schedules and assist with plant service and installation contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in domestic and global supply chain purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
- Written and spoken English and Spanish, including the ability to maintain a phone conversation in both languages.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; Excel knowledge is critical.
- Effective project management, organization, communication, research, and independent working skills.
- Basic knowledge of guitars and amplifiers.
Nice to have
- Experience in sourcing or purchasing, finance/accounting, planning, logistics, or supplier quality.
- Working knowledge of SAP R3 and BW programs.
