Nurse Practitioner

Location: Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite care delivery with second-shift options of approximately 12 PM–8 PM or 1 PM–9 PM.

What you will do

• Provide primary, preventive, acute, and urgent care to St. Jude employees.
• Conduct physical examinations and deliver preventive health measures according to established guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, infection management, and other clinical procedures.
• Develop care plans, document patient progress, maintain accurate health records, and ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend treatments, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams while educating patients and coaching nursing staff on best practices.

Requirements

• Active state RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses or certificates, including state prescriptive authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license matching each applicable state of practice.
• Current ANCC or AANP national certification.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing; transcripts are required if the degree certificate does not specify Nursing.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on the service scope.
• At least three years of clinical Nurse Practitioner experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department settings.
