Process Engineer MTS (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; onsite role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $147,000–$202,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, execute, analyze, and document complex process engineering experiments for multiple products within safety guidelines.
• Characterize hardware and develop measurement methods, technologies, and analytical instrumentation for complex systems.
• Develop and lead process engineering, technology, and research projects addressing future products and technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, product documentation, and process engineering specifications.
• Train engineers in film-property measurement techniques, data interpretation, troubleshooting, and new methodologies.
• Work with customers, vendors, and suppliers to resolve complex engineering issues and support product success.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in a specialized process engineering or related technical discipline.
• Advanced analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead others through complex engineering challenges.
• Experience interpreting business and technical challenges and recommending improved products, processes, or services.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical decisions with others.
• Recognized technical expertise with a record of significant technology contributions.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California and travel approximately 20% of the time.
