Process Engineer - Specialty Chemicals

What you will do

• Lead process development, scale-up, and optimization from laboratory development through commercial production.
• Provide chemical engineering expertise and technical leadership to interdisciplinary project teams.
• Evaluate unit operations and technologies to improve energy efficiency, cost, and process performance.
• Prepare Process Design Packages, Process Technology reports, and technical deliverables for FEL stage gates and CAPEX projects.
• Define project requirements, align stakeholders, and support delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate technical information across R&D, Engineering, and business units while managing deviations, corrective actions, risks, and confidential information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering, with 3–5 years of relevant experience; PhD candidates need at least 2 years.
• Experience in process development, laboratory-to-commercial scale-up, process technology, and innovation management.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, unit operations, and specialty and fine chemicals production.
• Knowledge of FEL stage-gate processes and technical deliverables for capital projects.
• Project management experience leading interdisciplinary teams and managing timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.
