Executive Vice President (Integrated Air and Missile Defense)

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, Alabama; Arlington, Virginia; or Columbia, Maryland. Travel: 25%–50%.

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year.

What you will do

• Set and execute the Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission-area strategy, including customer priorities, portfolio shaping, market positioning, and growth investments.
• Own revenue, margin, cash, contract performance, recompetes, quality, security, and customer-outcome targets.
• Build senior relationships with government customers, industry partners, acquisition authorities, and national-level mission stakeholders.
• Translate mission needs into differentiated, contractible, deployable, and reusable services, software, technology, and mission solutions.
• Oversee program execution, staffing, funding visibility, risk management, scope discipline, subcontractor alignment, and corrective actions.
• Build leadership succession, improve operating productivity, and lead business, technical, and organizational transformation.

Requirements

• 20+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in defense, aerospace, national security, missile defense, air defense, C4ISR, acquisition, test, systems engineering, operations, or a related mission environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, national security, business, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent military or government executive experience.
• Executive leadership experience with complex organizations, portfolios, programs, or mission areas, including financial performance, customer outcomes, staffing, risk, quality, compliance, and growth.
• Experience engaging senior U.S. Government, Congressional, military, or defense acquisition stakeholders and operating in a government-contracting environment governed by FAR and DFARS.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the U.S. Government security clearance required for assigned contracts and customer engagements.

Nice to have

• O6/O7 military leadership, Senior Executive Service, or comparable senior civilian defense executive experience.
• Senior-level experience with IAMD, missile defense architecture, air defense operations, sensor-to-shooter integration, command and control, fires, testing, or acquisition.
• Experience with Golden Dome for America, the Missile Defense Agency, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, or the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
• Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation, productivity improvement, AI-enabled workflows, or operating-system modernization.
