What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for system, software, and airborne electronic hardware design assurance processes.
• Review and approve lifecycle data for internal development and supplier programs.
• Execute system design assurance reviews for compliance with ARP4754A and ARP4761.
• Conduct supplier oversight and design assurance reviews for compliance with ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and related certification regulations.
• Interface with FAA DERs and certification authorities during compliance reviews.
• Track findings from system, software, and AEH design assurance activities through resolution and improve related processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in system and software/AEH design assurance for aerospace standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with full-lifecycle safety-critical systems, software, and AEH under ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254, and DO-178C with supplements.
• Experience working with multiple systems, software, AEH environments, and tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with agile or lean methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with DO-330 tool qualification, DO-331 model-based development and verification, and DO-326/DO-356/DO-355.
• Experience developing systems, software, or AEH for an aircraft OEM.
• Experience with FAA certification compliance reviews and regulations.
• Familiarity with Polarion, Collaborator, Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira, and Teamcenter.
