Chief Estimator (Construction)

Location: White Plains, NY, United States. The position requires approximately 25% travel for jobsite visits, pre-bid meetings, and pre-construction meetings.

What you will do

• Oversee estimating staff and project estimates.
• Conduct site reviews and manage customer interactions related to projects.
• Work with divisional management on current and upcoming opportunities.
• Compile, analyze, and present estimates and historical project costs.
• Support projects involving wharfs and ports, dams, water resiliency, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, bridges, and railways.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling software, including HCSS and B2W.
• Negotiation experience, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.
