Concrete Estimator (Heavy Civil)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, United States; approximately 25% travel required for jobsite visits, pre-bid meetings, and pre-construction meetings.

What you will do

• Evaluate bid specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
• Solicit and evaluate material and subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare accurate, timely bids designed to win projects.
• Collaborate with project management teams to follow up on bids and budgets and close business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or an equivalent four-year degree, plus 3+ years of related heavy civil construction estimating experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling software, including HCSS and B2W.
• Negotiation experience.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle types driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% for jobsites and project meetings.
