Senior Estimator (Data Center)

Location: Hubbard, Texas, United States; flexible/project-based work with up to 25% travel for site visits, estimate reviews, customer meetings, and preconstruction activities.

What you will do

• Lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for mission-critical, hyperscale data center, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop conceptual, design-build, EPC, and hard-bid estimates through multiple project development stages.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, geotechnical information, and technical documentation.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing analyses, cost modeling, subcontractor evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, project management, subcontractors, and business development teams.
• Lead estimate reviews, bid strategy meetings, value engineering, proposal development, and cost guidance through project turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience estimating mission-critical, data center, industrial, EPC, heavy civil, power, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, labor productivity, scheduling, equipment utilization, procurement, and project delivery methods.
• Ability to interpret construction documents, develop budgets and estimates, prepare bid proposals, and assess project risks.
• Experience soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating subcontractor and supplier pricing; proficiency with estimating software, quantity takeoff platforms, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with HeavyBid, InEight Estimate, DESTINI, HCSS, Sage Estimating, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting design-build, EPC, or alternative delivery projects.
