Sr Mgr Vendor Master Template Owner (SAP MDG)

Location: Madrid, Spain; global role with travel of up to 20%.

Salary: €75,000–€129,260 annually; Spain base pay range: €75,000–€150,100.

What you will do

• Own the standardized Vendor Master data design and end-to-end data management process for the Transcend SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Serve as the global authority for the Vendor Master domain and coordinate with data stewards and workstreams across supply chain, finance, and quality.
• Define SAP S/4HANA metadata standards, MDG governance processes, validation rules, and derivation rules.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into scalable master data solutions.
• Coordinate Vendor Master alignment and integration across Know Your Supplier, CFIN, Enterprise, LIMS, MES, OMP, and Comet.
• Provide strategic leadership for data profiling, cleansing, migration, data quality rules, and cutover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, and/or data quality within complex global organizations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG, data quality tools, data lakes, and metadata management solutions.
• Experience delivering large-scale SAP and data transformation programs, including data migration and cutover.
• Strong knowledge of data integrity, internal controls, validation, and quality requirements for computerized systems.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder influence, presentation, and communication skills; English is required.
