What you will do

• Construct new and maintain existing natural gas pipeline systems, including material selection, procedures, code compliance, and work inspections.
• Evaluate leakage survey effectiveness and support pipeline system operations involving regulation, measurement, curtailment, and gas loss or gain.
• Design system mains, regulator and meter settings, and corrosion-control protection.
• Contribute to operating standards and evaluate products based on safety, economics, and usability.
• Review completed-job paperwork, engineering specifications, surveys, and project directions for accuracy, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate Engineering and Operations activities and prepare specialized reports and studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and either Engineer-In-Training registration with four years of professional engineering experience, or an ABET-accredited degree with eight years of experience, or a non-ABET-accredited degree with twelve years of experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and exchange information with internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, geometric, statistical, and accounting calculations.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications for complex documents, reports, and graphics.
• Pre- and post-employment drug testing and motor vehicle record checks are required for this safety-sensitive position.
