What you will do

• Carry out mechanical and bench fitting operations on turbine blades and vanes.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and fitting layouts accurately.
• Use hand tools, pneumatic power tools, and rotary deburring equipment safely.
• Produce high-quality components while meeting production schedules and operational targets.
• Inspect components using first-principle gauging techniques and verify conformance before the next manufacturing stage.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, quality, and continuous-improvement standards.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering qualification.
• Proven mechanical or bench fitting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with precision measuring and gauging techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, practical fitting skills, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• Reliable, accountable, adaptable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
