Manager, Production Systems, NSO (Pharmacy Automation)

Location: Onsite at the NSO Central Fill Campus in Rogers, Arkansas, United States. Schedule includes four 10-hour days with Friday–Monday coverage; shift availability includes 6 a.m.–6 p.m. and second-shift/open availability seven days a week.

Annual salary: $76,000–$114,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone or complex-structure compensation.

Walmart operates a Central Fill Pharmacy business that uses automation to process prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations and support patient-care operations.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule daily production to support efficient and safe operations.
• Coordinate with Production Support teams and Team Leaders to optimize workflow, flow, and throughput.
• Establish standard operating procedures and ensure team training.
• Monitor and analyze productivity reports and key performance indicators.
• Provide direction, support, coaching, and development for Team Leaders.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, business, operations management, logistics, or a related field, or qualifying production and operations experience.
• At least two years of management or supervisory experience in a production or operations environment, or four years of experience in automation, manufacturing, warehousing, or a pharmacy facility.
• Experience with production management, scheduling, productivity analysis, and performance data.
• Ability to establish and implement standard operating procedures and manage budgets or cost-saving initiatives.
• Completion of a Board-approved or Pharmacy Technician University program and registration as a pharmacy technician in the state of practice within one year of starting.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity software.
