Associate Designer - Women's Five Pocket Denim (Denim)

Salary: $64,200–$79,600 per year, with potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Work with the Senior Designer to develop women's five-pocket denim concepts, color stories, fabrics, prints, trims, and graphics.
• Prepare presentation boards featuring illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication details, and garment samples.
• Research seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials, styling, and trims.
• Collaborate with Technical Design to prepare specifications from initial concepts through technical design cards.
• Work with Production to maintain the design concept throughout the production process.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of design experience and an apparel design degree.
• Strong illustration, technical sketching, creative presentation, color sense, and fashion trend awareness.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, trims, garment measurements, specifications, and lab dips.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-direction, teamwork, multitasking ability, strong written and verbal communication, follow-through, and a sense of urgency.
