What you will do
- Repair, install, inspect, and maintain equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Dismantle devices to access components requiring inspection or repair.
- Troubleshoot equipment systems, identify potential failures, and complete or schedule repairs.
- Document completed and preventive maintenance work accurately.
- Communicate incomplete tasks and handoff status to technicians and the Maintenance Manager.
- Train technicians in preventive maintenance and follow environmental, health, safety, chemical, and hazardous-waste procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required for the role.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, measuring devices, power tools, and related equipment.
- Ability to follow technical data, operating manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to comply with US export-control and ITAR requirements; access to restricted ITAR products and technical data is limited to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
Nice to have
- Three years of preventive maintenance, repair, or installation experience with industrial or commercial electro-mechanical equipment.
- Licensing or journeyman status.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
