Structural BIM/CAD Specialist (Bridges)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; preference given to local candidates.

What you will do

• Prepare detailed drawings and layouts for concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures.
• Develop details for complex bridge types, including prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, steel plate girder, segmental, and cable-stayed bridges.
• Work with engineers to develop 3D models using OpenBridge Modeler and OpenRoads Designer.
• Compile project data and perform dimensional and routine calculations for drawing preparation.
• Support projects from initial concept through planning and implementation while assisting other groups as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in bridge structures drafting or related projects.
• Experience with BIM and 3D CAD software platforms.
• Ability to interpret as-built plans for existing structures.
• Ability to use Excel for quantity calculations and cost estimating.
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with project team members.
• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology is preferred.
