Sr Mgr Financial Systems Tech (Oracle)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; flex hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Base pay: $112,200–$202,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage programming and related activities for financial systems.
• Provide research and management information data for actuarial and other divisions.
• Lead financial initiatives with responsibility for quality, timeliness, and effectiveness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage strategies and solutions through direct and matrix reports.
• Analyze business and operational issues, impacts, and strategic opportunities.
• Provide strategic and tactical direction based on quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience using computer programming systems.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in the Chicago office 3 days per week under the hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Oracle support, security, and reporting experience.
• Change management and process re-engineering experience.
• Experience managing business and operational issues in matrix team structures.
• Knowledge of financial business processes, regulatory processes, and health care industry requirements.
• Knowledge of HCSC systems such as BlueSTAR or BlueChip.
