Lead Gen AI Full Stack Engineer (eCommerce)

Location: Hybrid in Frisco, Texas; on-site 2–3 days per week and within commutable distance of Frisco required. No relocation assistance offered.

Salary: USD $135,910–$223,285 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Translate business and engineering requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions end to end.
• Build modern frontends, backend services, and database integrations for a high-scale eCommerce platform serving millions of customers.
• Drive architecture decisions and technical direction for GenAI initiatives with senior leadership.
• Design and ship production LLM products, including conversational chatbots, AI summarization, and operational copilots.
• Develop RAG pipelines with vector search and reranking, autonomous AI agents, tool orchestration, and safety guardrails.
• Use observability data to identify bottlenecks, surface insights, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.

Requirements

• 9+ years of full-stack engineering experience with product ownership and large-scale production delivery.
• 2+ years of experience shipping production LLM applications with measurable business impact.
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js with NestJS, React, Next.js, Python with FastAPI, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, data lakes, microservices, event-driven architecture, and API design.
• Hands-on AWS experience with Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical GenAI experience with Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangGraph, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation, and AI coding tools.
