Athletic Trainer / Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: On-site in Denver, Colorado, at a United Airlines Health Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $28.80–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement early-intervention programs, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, first aid, and injury-prevention education.
• Perform physical-demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care and workplace countermeasures with on-site medical and safety teams.
• Document assessments, recommendations, outcomes, and patient health records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in meetings and task forces and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• Experience in occupational health and safety and knowledge of current OSHA regulations are preferred.
• Experience in ergonomics is preferred.
