Nurse, Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant

Location: Wytheville, Virginia, United States; requires travel to patients’ homes using a personal vehicle

What you will do

• Provide preventative, diagnostic, and low-acuity healthcare services in patients’ homes.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, ECGs, and other trained services.
• Prepare daily clinical supplies and personal protective equipment before visiting patients.
• Use mobile technology for scheduling, charting, and HIPAA-secure care coordination.
• Build compassionate relationships with diverse patients and deliver comfortable, patient-centered care.
• Label collected samples correctly and coordinate delivery to laboratories or shipment facilities.

Requirements

• Previous venipuncture experience and the required state licensure, training, or national certification.
• Basic Life Support certification and proof of completion of the relevant clinical course, program, or certification.
• Valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solve problems in a changing environment.
• Ability to access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds while walking.
• Successful national background check, DMV check, and clinical license search.
