Principal Solutions Architect (Robotics)

What you will do

• Analyze customer data, processes, and requirements to design automation solutions for specific applications.
• Prepare technical response documents and deliver customer presentations throughout the presales cycle.
• Define proof-of-concept scope, architecture, technical requirements, and risk mitigation plans.
• Assess development feasibility and collaborate with engineering teams on design limitations and opportunities.
• Identify new solution applications and product opportunities through customer and market analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Program Engineering, and Operations on solution development and commercialization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations, or a related field.
• Experience designing warehouse automation systems, particularly conveyor layouts.
• Strong business acumen and ability to use operational and financial metrics for business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and technical drawings or CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Comfort working with mechanical systems and developing models to solve complex problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineering teams, and operational teams; willingness to travel 25% or more.
