TL;DR

Systems Architect I (Supply Chain): Leading the design and development of material handling system solutions for the freight and parcel industry with an accent on equipment technology and operational processes. Focus on creating system concepts, performing material flow calculations, and collaborating with clients to improve operational efficiency.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office in Irving, TX). Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor work visas.

What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of material handling system solutions for the freight, parcel, and postal industries.
  • Partner with clients to define system requirements and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership during the sales phase to build client confidence in company capabilities.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects with values ranging from $1M to $250M.
  • Develop material flow calculations and Basis of Design (BOD) to define system performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations teams to develop specifications and pricing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of successful experience in the related field.
  • Proficiency in automation layout and design using AutoCAD 2D or Navisworks.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
