Software Linux Integration Engineer - OS Team (Linux)

Location: Haifa, Israel; hybrid workplace

Company

Develops autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance technologies, including embedded Boot and Operating System software.

What you will do

• Debug and test OS components, including Boot, hardware initialization, device drivers, Linux Kernel, user-space libraries, tools, and automated Python tests.
• Integrate OS and Boot components with other software and hardware modules.
• Work with Boot and OS development teams to integrate, test, and automate new features and systems.
• Manage releases and features across multiple projects and disciplines.
• Manage CI systems and testing coverage for system-level validation.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Mandatory familiarity with the C programming language.
• Mandatory familiarity with the Linux Kernel operating system.
• 5+ years of software integration experience with hands-on low-level development and debugging.
• Strong system understanding, troubleshooting, software-change tracking, problem isolation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead integration activities across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI and automated testing environments.
