Junior Software Engineer (Medical Imaging)

hirify.global is a healthcare technology company developing medical technologies, including the CathWorks FFRangio® System for real-time physiologic assessment from routine coronary angiograms.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating system components, software tools, utilities, and clinical applications.
• Build software that processes and visualizes angiographic imaging in real time within the Cath lab.
• Define systems software design requirements and implement system improvements.
• Develop across high-performance, multithreaded, GPU-accelerated processing and clinical-facing visualization layers.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, test and automation engineers, biomedical engineers, and product specialists in an agile environment.
• Monitor implemented improvements and contribute across the software lifecycle.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a software developer.
• High proficiency in C, C++, and C#/.NET.
• Familiarity with WPF and hands-on production application development experience.
• Strong object-oriented design and multithreading programming skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with computer vision, image processing, GPU programming, preferably CUDA, MATLAB/MATLAB API, VTK, OpenGL, medical imaging, preferably DCMTK, or agile methodologies.
