TL;DR
Software Engineer (C/C++ and Medical Imaging): Building and maintaining complex applications that process and visualize angiographic imaging in real time for interventional cardiology with an accent on high-performance multithreaded processing, GPU acceleration, and clinical-facing visualization. Focus on designing operating system components and software utilities, integrating computer vision and image-processing technologies, and delivering reliable software for life-critical procedures.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex software applications for angiographic imaging.
- Build real-time processing and visualization capabilities for clinical use in the Cath lab.
- Develop operating system components, software tools, and utilities.
- Define systems software design requirements and implement system improvements.
- Collaborate with algorithm developers, software test and automation engineers, biomedical engineers, and product specialists in an agile environment.
- Support software lifecycle activities across R&D and new technology initiatives.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a software developer.
- High proficiency in C, C++, and C#/.NET.
- Familiarity with WPF and strong object-oriented design skills.
- Strong multithreading programming skills and hands-on production application development experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with computer vision, image processing, GPU programming, preferably CUDA, MATLAB/MATLAB API, VTK, OpenGL, or medical imaging with DCMTK.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
