Vice President, Contracts Attorney (AI)

Location: Tustin, California, United States

Salary: $220,000–$275,000 annual base salary, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and oversee enterprise-wide contract management across business units.
• Review, draft, interpret, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Lead contract discussions with business units, vendors, and outside counsel.
• Direct contract workflows from initial conception through negotiation and execution.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on contractual responsibilities, risk allocation, liability, privacy, and data protection.
• Develop managers and staff, manage the division budget, and contribute to organizational risk and leadership strategies.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in California or a reciprocal jurisdiction.
• 15+ years of relevant experience and 10+ years of management experience.
• Strong contract drafting, contract management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with complex data privacy, information security, cloud-based, software licensing, and SaaS agreements.
• Strong communication, organizational, independent-working, and risk-management skills.
• High school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree.
