Vice President, Legal (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid, Tuesdays and Thursdays in office)

Compensation: $250,000–$325,000 (OTE)

What you will do

• Oversee all legal aspects of customer documentation and capital markets technology products in partnership with the executive team.
• Draft and negotiate SaaS and various customer agreements.
• Review and negotiate documentation related to technology platform services and capital solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory market changes to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
• Build and maintain scalable legal processes to support company growth.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience drafting and negotiating capital markets and finance agreements, including asset-backed facilities.
• JD degree from a top-tier law school and admission to the New York bar in good standing.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach.
