Senior Land Representative (Right of Way)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; frequent work at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices

Salary: USD $71,500–$78,000 per year

What you will do

• Research affected property owners and initiate contact with owners and tenants.
• Explain property appraisals, valuations, and right-of-way compensation.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interests, curative documents, and damage settlements.
• Secure property access permissions and maintain constructive relationships with affected landowners.
• Prepare contact diaries, activity reports, payment logs, and other ROW documentation.
• Support construction activities, community meetings, project mailouts, and coordination with landowner attorneys.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as a ROW agent or in a related ROW position.
• Associate degree preferred, or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of land descriptions, surface and subsurface rights, ROW document analysis, valuation calculations, and land services methods.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, word processing, and land database systems.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain a state Notary Public credential and any required state real estate license.

• SR/WA or another IRWA designation.
