Senior Data Engineer (Oracle)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for migrating financial data from legacy Oracle databases into an Oracle ERP environment.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL for extracting, transforming, reconciling, and validating high-volume data.
• Build backend integrations using APIs, middleware, and established enterprise integration patterns.
• Map financial data and business rules to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Policy, and Claims Administration workflows.
• Perform profiling, testing, reconciliation, root-cause analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain data integrity and reliability.
• Document designs and mappings, participate in reviews and deployments, and communicate risks and progress during the financial systems transformation.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, data pipelines, financial data migration, and enterprise integrations.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle, data governance, testing, reconciliation, and integration troubleshooting.
• Consultative problem-solving skills and the ability to align digital solutions with client business goals.
• Ability to oversee deliverables, lead and mentor colleagues, and communicate effectively with business analysts, accounting stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and coaching skills.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required; C2C arrangements are unavailable.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve daily engineering work and support AI adoption.
