What you will do
- Provide maintenance and reliability consulting for manufacturing sites, equipment, and work practices.
- Identify reliability gaps through plant assessments and audits, define improvement strategies, and support implementation.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide engineering recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and operational improvements.
- Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, condition-based, and system maintenance programs.
- Support capital projects, control distribution systems, rotating equipment, vendor evaluations, scopes of work, schedules, estimates, and equipment specifications.
- Support Process Safety Management activities, including Process Hazard Analyses and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- US visa required.
- English proficiency required.
- Professional degree and registration credentials (título profesional y cédula).
- 2–5 years of similar experience, including plant operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, instrument system design, and rotating equipment.
- Strong safety awareness, communication, organization, and ability to manage deadlines, emergencies, and multiple priorities.
